The role of the Group Energy manager is to support the business in managing all aspects of Energy across Primark’s estate of stores, office and depots globally. You will be tasked in ensuring that Primark is meeting its global Energy management and compliance requirements, meeting budget expectations and implementing best practice where possible. We proudly operate in 17 countries across Europe and the USA, and we are on an exhilarating growth trajectory, expanding into both new and existing markets making this strategic role, crucial to ensuring on-going compliance, budget alignment and achieving our carbon reduction and wider sustainability goals.

What You’ll Do:
We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:Support the delivery of Primark’s Energy and wider Sustainability Strategy within our Direct Operations;Ensure legal compliance related to Energy management in each operating market.Act as SME for energy efficiency related to Primark Significant Energy UsersAct as the Energy budget owner, responsible for the all the relevant reporting, forecasting and governance.Oversee the project management of all Energy related saving initiatives, including their resourcing and budgets.
What You’ll Bring
Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:Primary qualification in Energy management/engineering5+ years in a similar type roleHave a good working knowledge of relevant energy practicesSME on metering, HVAC, lighting, electrification, heat pump, boiler and renewable technologiesRetail or High-Demand Goods experience.
