Energy Software Sales Executive - Remote

Position Overview
Responsible for driving SaaS and Hybrid SaaS revenue opportunities within the Energy and Oil & Gas industries by generating subscription and services sales to achieve ARR targets. Focuses on strategic, value-based sales approaches for allocated Named Accounts and New Logo prospects, leveraging multi-disciplinary teams and partners to execute account strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales plans aligned with the Integrated Country Plan to drive ARR growth in the Energy and Oil & Gas industries. Address customer challenges with tailored strategies that align with industry needs. Serve as a key contact for account knowledge, mentoring team members, and sharing insights within the organization.

Account Planning

Define short-term goals for named accounts to achieve revenue targets, focusing on growth and customer retention. Develop account strategies aligned with customer journeys, prioritizing high-value accounts and suspects. Identify go-to-market channels and tactics to execute account plans effectively. Participate in account reviews, presenting updates and strategies to management.

Team Orchestration

Foster collaboration across teams and resolve conflicts to ensure alignment. Lead cross-functional teams and partners to drive opportunities through the sales pipeline. Coordinate value-based messaging and the Xcelerator story to create customer advantages. Synthesize data for actionable insights and ensure smooth transitions with Customer Outcomes and Support teams.

Prospecting and Discovery

Manage a robust pipeline of leads and suspects, converting them into opportunities. Run targeted campaigns or leverage direct outreach to generate high-quality leads. Build relationships with new customers, mapping their needs and creating influence strategies. Identify solution fits, calculate ROI, and assess opportunity risks with management.

Opportunity Management

Guide customers through the buying process, highlighting business value and measurable ROI. Translate customer needs into tailored value propositions through various communication channels. Map key stakeholders and define strategies to support account goals. Prepare and manage contracts, ensure smooth transitions post-sale, and monitor adoption to drive value. Build customer advocacy networks and create upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing

Actively participate in interest groups to stay updated on solutions, market trends, and go-to-market changes.

The total cash compensation range for this position is $106,100 to $212,200 with 50% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
