An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Energy and Sustainability Engineer at our Dunboyne facility. This person will develop and manage the Energy Management and Sustainability program to achieve site and corporate energy reduction, carbon reduction and sustainability targets.

Bring your energy, knowledge, and innovation to:
Drive the Energy and Sustainability action plan and long-term Carbon Roadmap – identify targets, identify opportunities and drive action plans to achieve site goals.Take on responsibility of Site energy lead and supporting energy program to meet program expectations.Maintain oversight of the Energy and Sustainability workstreams, providing support and direction –Biodiversity, Waste, Carbon and Communication / Culture as part of See Green Be Green team.Drive the Energy and Sustainability culture and communication strategy keeping Energy and Sustainability to the fore achieving high engagement across the site through Tier 4 council updates, weekly and monthly energy meetings sand other communication forums.Maintain ISO50001 certification through collaboration with our other Irish Sites and Energy CoE.Maintain the Energy metrics and progress against targets, ensuring they are visible across the organization.Analyse energy consumption, identify and implement measures to improve energy optimization throughout the Site.Support GHG emission reporting by engaging in per standard SN 43, EDC, EU-ETS, LIEN and other related bodies.Continually develop the energy monitoring system to further identify and trend area energy usage.Maintain and implement initiatives from opportunities register and updating Resource Advisor periodically.Data gathering and analysis to support site waste treatment systems and environmental compliance.Supporting other engineering functions as required to meet business needs.What skills you will need:
To excel in this role, you will have:
Proven record of accomplishments of working in a Pharma/Biopharma company or related industry is desirable.Graduate or post-graduate qualification in sustainability or equivalent.Have a passion for sustainability and energy management.Working knowledge of ISO50001 including certification.Track record of energy improvement projects on significant energy users.Proven ability around working cross functionally, focusing on meeting and tracking to schedules and embracing an interdependent work culture.Experience working in a GMP/regulated environment is desirable.Organisation Skills – Ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolution.Current Employees apply HERE
