We are looking for a talented individual…
To join our team as an Energy Technician. You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct pre and post-installation verification's and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Support program staff and clients in their efforts to influence stakeholders, to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits, or new construction. Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and recommends solutions.

Conduct installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades
Record and report to program staff customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements
Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, regarding installation in accordance with client specifications
Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
Travel throughout a defined territory
Exciting candidate will have…
6 months -1 year relevant industry experience: IE Energy Efficiency, Weatherization, Construction
High school diploma or equivalent required
BPI Certification – or ability to obtain 6 months after employment, paid for by the Company, (Training will be provided)
Driver’s license with a clean driving background
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Compensation Range
$17.75 - $25.05Currency
