To join our team as an Energy Technician III! As an Energy Technician III, you will acts as local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory.

Successful candidates will reside in Knoxville, Tennessee for daily travel within the region.

Conduct installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades

Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications

Record and report to program staff customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements

Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products

Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, regarding installation in accordance with client specifications

Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.

Travel throughout a defined territory

High school or Associates Degree

Ability to work in-person in multiple homes per day (this is not a work-from-home position; you will be in the field servicing customers’ homes)
