Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual…​ 

To join our team as an Energy Technician III. You will be acting as a lead and installing energy efficiency measures to reduce consumer energy bills for various utility and weatherization programs within a defined territory in a company-provided vehicle. There is no overnight travel.

For this opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can… ​​ 

Install energy-saving measures (e.g., insulation, caulking, thermostats, and water heaters).

Perform minor repairs (e.g., windows and doors).

Load/unload work trucks and organize job sites.

Ensure installations meet program guidelines.

Troubleshoot technical issues per utility specifications.

Complete daily paperwork and status updates.

Set up and tear down job sites.

Test combustion appliances for proper function.

Physical requirements: 

Work in extreme hot or cold weather conditions.

Sit, stand, walk, crawl, climb, kneel, or crouch, often in confined spaces.

Perform repetitive hand motions and use basic hand/power tools.

Use ladders up to 3 stories high.

Lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds. 

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have… 

High school diploma or equivalent.

1–3 years of residential construction experience (required).

Basic plumbing/electrical skills (required).

Supervisory and/or leadership experience is an asset

BPI Certification preferred; must obtain within 90 days (training provided).

Valid driver’s license with a clean record (required).

Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Targeted Compensation

$25-$28 per hour

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
