Our greatest asset has been, and will continue to be, our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Eng Advisor Process in our US Onshore Resources Carbon Management (ORCM), Ops Prod FC, Process Engineering Team based in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

Lead facilities projects during Feasibility, Conceptual, Pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed engineering stageParticipate in project start up and commissioning related activitiesSupport Project Execution Manager throughout the execution stageProvide engineering assistance to troubleshoot process operating issuesOversee pilot projects / special tests and develop supporting reportsAnalyze projects designs and develop innovative solutions to improve economics and maximize returnPerform process simulations for gas plants and field facilitiesPerform CO2e emission estimates for ORCM operations and develop lower carbon intensity solutionsPerform hydraulic analysis of pipeline networksPerform sizing and/or rating of equipmentPerform high level cost and schedule estimatesSupport the economic analysis of projectsSupport Process Safety and Risk Management StudiesProvide information to support groups (Electrical/Automation/IT/Planning) to implement entire project designSupport development of facilities standards and design guidelines that will benefit the entire organizationSupport management of contract engineering servicesSupport mentoring of Asset team Facilities Engineers

BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

Professional/Technical Knowledge:

8 years of process engineering experience preferredStrong analytical/problem solving skills.Expertise in Process Thermodynamic Simulation Software such as ProMax and Aspen HYSYSProficient in Dynamic Simulation Software: Aspen HYSYS DynamicsExpertise in Hydraulic/Fluid Dynamic Simulation Software such as PipeSim, PipePhase, Aspen Flare NetHigh proficiency in Microsoft Applications (such as Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook)Experience with gas processing plants is preferred

Skills Competencies:

High level communication skills with Customer focusExpertise in project management principles including estimating, scheduling, and implementationFamiliar with Project Risk Analysis like PDRI or MontecarloKnowledge of pipelines and surface equipment design principlesOSHA Process Safety Management elements and typical safety program requirements (including HAZOPs and Risk Analysis, Management of Change, PSSR)Knowledgeable in Industry standards (ASME, API, PIP, NACE)Basic understanding of automation and electrical design principles
