Provides Engineering Support to Manufacturing and Assembly Lines.Works on complex problems and recommends actions based on engineering principles and methodology.Develops and Improves Manufacturing, Assembly, and Engineering Processes and Procedures.Utilizes Data Gathering and Analysis methods in problem solving and process improvement.Updates and maintains essential manufacturing data such as BOMS, programs, and references. Supports Manufacturing activities such as FAI, NPI, SPC, and FMEA.Exercises judgment within defined practices and standards in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria.Creates manufacturing process documentation such as Work Instructions, Standard Work, and Process Flow.Supports team and company in ensuring that metrics and KPIs are met.Able to perform quality work and exercise independent discretion with minimum supervision.Able to complete projects and tasks while working individually or part of a cross functional team.Able to adjust to non-routine situations by defining and utilizing appropriate methods and processes.Able to transfer knowledge and train others.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.Knowledge in reading and interpreting 2D blueprints with understanding of dimensioning and tolerances.Ability to solve problems and implement solutions.Highly analytical and very keen on details.Above average to excellent Computer skills.Good team collaboration skills.Effective oral and written communication skills.1-2 years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.Experience in Team Center or other PLM software applications is an advantage.Understanding of problem-solving tools (RRCA, DMAIC, 8D) and GD&T is an advantageExperience with Metal Fabrication equipment, processes, and materials is an advantage.
