The Opportunity: A Process Engineer for Power and Recovery at the Hodge Paper Mill is responsible for evaluating existing and future processes, aiding in the improvement of production systems to reduce costs, increase sustainability and construct best practices for the manufacturing process. Cross-functional work at the back end of the mill will also be part of the responsibility. Responsibilities: * PI and Ekho page database building and updating * Six Sigma * Process Improvement Trial Implementation, Planning and Documentation * Special Chemical Inventory * Data Collection - Mill Balances, Pinch Studies, etc. * ISO Documentation and Implementation Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Safety - Includes following safety rules and regulations, working to create and maintain good housekeeping, knowledge and use of safety equipment, active participation in safety effort, attending safety meetings, confronting others regarding safety, reporting incidents and near misses, correcting unsafe conditions.
