Your Impact

As Engagement Delivery Leader within Open Text UKI Professional Services, you will be responsible for leading a new strategic program of work within a key UK Government account. This is a customer, delivery, and people centric role, accountable for customer success, while working closely with our delivery partners, the Professional Services Sales/Pre-Sales teams, other Business Units within OpenText, building and providing value-added solutions/services and protecting the customer investments. This role requires strong business and people leadership skills, pro-active capacity planning and organization development skills to enable employees to develop and grow on a personal and technical level. 

 

What the role offers:

Leading programmes of multi partner teams to successfully deliver projects and services to the end client. This will include: Establishing and managing the professional services delivery developing and implementing delivery strategies for outsourced technology and/or managed services operations. Developing and building strong relationships with C-level and senior executives within the partner environment and within the end client managing customer satisfaction and governance. Managing internal OpenText stakeholders ensuring alignment and support for the programme at all levels. Ensuring delivery objectives and client expectations are met in accordance with agreed outcomes and value, risk and compliance, and contractual obligations. In collaboration with the Client Director and Engineering Lead develop and grow the business across the programme. This will include: Identifying opportunities to improve and enhance delivery through innovation and value for money concepts. Supporting the pre-sales function and ensuring the smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery Develop and build strong relationships with the Partner network. Working with Resource Management define a strategy for rapid growth. Exceed agreed revenue and margin targets and be an escalation point for any delivery related elements within the programme.

 

What you need to succeed:

You will have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in management consulting, professional services, leadership roles with enterprise solutions of which you have at least 5 years of experience in leading IT programmes within UK Government. The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a higher level of government clearance – DV and above You will be able to demonstrate you have a minimum of  5 years of experience in leading large/complex, multi-faceted, multi end-user business organizations with budgetary responsibility in excess of £80M. You will be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen with evidence of developing new business, preparation and negotiation of tenders and framework contracts, and increasing levels of business and profitability. You will be able to provide examples of your experience in managing multiple sub-contract relationships successfully. Your abilities will include excellent communication skills with which you can develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, and other external organizations whilst also having the ability to manage and motivate teams of people to achieve both business and personal goals. You have a demonstrable track record of growing a business from the ground up, developing a strong delivery strategy using both traditional and modern methodologies, establishing effective governance and policies, and delighting your customers.
