W2 Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Engagement Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of application technology solutions that align with our strategic business objectives. This role requires an experienced leader to oversee product and project delivery, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions. The Engagement Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, efficiency, and innovation across projects, while managing onshore and offshore resources to meet timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Delivery & Consultation Manage and oversee the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals. Consult with leadership on solution options, product selection, and strategic decisions to meet business objectives. Partner with leadership to budget, prioritize, and plan both ongoing and new development projects. Product & Project Management Handle daily project decisions, drive the execution of product roadmaps, and collaborate with leadership on strategic priorities. Oversee product planning, release management, and deployment to meet business and technology standards. Optimize application efficiency and reduce operational costs. Project Execution Lead all phases of the SDLC for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices. Develop project documentation, including budgets, resource plans, and timelines, in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO). Track project progress, resolve issues, and escalate risks to relevant stakeholders when necessary. Manage resources to ensure deadlines are met and team focus remains aligned with project goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with Solution Architects, Business System Analysts, and Quality Engineering teams to ensure technical designs meet business and functional requirements. Conduct code reviews and provide oversight on testing processes to ensure project alignment with architecture and design standards. Facilitate continuous process improvement and knowledge sharing within project delivery teams. Experience: Approximately 10 years of experience in Project Management. Proven track record of managing Application Development projects. Experience working with multiple application teams. Preferred Location: Hermitage, TNAlternate Location: Tampa, FL Required Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Preferred Qualifications:PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies. Offshore Team Oversight Lead both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring seamless coordination, progress tracking, and adherence to project schedules. Manage resource allocation, daily deliverables, and staffing to support project success and team focus. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of experience in project management, engagement management, or technology delivery. Proficient in SDLC, project planning, and resource management. Experience with product roadmaps, release management, and solution delivery. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships. Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction and issue resolution. Experience managing offshore teams and coordinating between onshore and offshore resources. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification. Familiarity with software architecture, enterprise solutions, and Agile methodologies. About BCforward:
