**Job description:**
We are seeking a Senior Engagement Manager with a solid background in program management, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management within the specialty insurance industry. This role involves leading all aspects of the successful delivery of fixed fee contracts within a Scaled Agile framework for a large global client. The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance domain and a proven track record of managing project financials, risks, and schedules.
**Key responsibilities:**
+ **Stakeholder and Delivery Management:** Act as the main point of contact for a large global client, ensuring clear communication and alignment with client expectations.
+ **Agile Delivery:** Hands-on management of Agile teams, driving Program Increment (PI) planning, and creating comprehensive product roadmaps.
+ **Scaled Agile Execution:** Deliver fixed fee contracts within a Scaled Agile construct, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
+ **P&C Insurance Domain Expertise:** Leverage knowledge of insurance platforms and industry best practices to guide project execution and client interactions.
+ **Program Management:** Manage project risks, schedules, and financials, ensuring projects are completed within scope, on time, and on budget.
+ **Financial Management:** Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure financial targets are met.
+ **Team Leadership:** Lead and mentor Agile teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
**Required Skills/Qualifications:**
+ Demonstrable experience in delivering fixed fee contracts within a Scaled Agile framework.
+ Good background in program management, including risk management, scheduling, and financial oversight.
+ Experience in the property and casualty insurance domain.
+ Duck Creek Platform experience (*preferred)
+ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to produce and manage product roadmaps and drive PI planning.
+ Strong leadership and team management skills.
+ Agile certification (e.g., SAFe, Scrum Master) or PMP is a plus.
**Education:** Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
