Lead the maintenance activities related to engine repair
Liaise with customer operational department to ensure timely and effective response to technical issues
Determine cause of symptom-based engine rejections and maintenance records (incl. borescope inspection results, engine debris, Non Destructive Test results etc)
Organize and manage meeting with engineering and quality departments aiming to complete engine issues troubleshooting and resolution
Analysis of Engine Health Monitoring System data to determine engine condition
Manage the resolution to maintenance problems through liaison with the Original Equipment Manfacturers
Manage shop-floor operating instructions and workscopes for engine repair
Prepare and issue of Query & Answer (QA) and Re-use Deviation Report (RDR) to support maintenance activities
Perform in-service data collection and analysis in support of trouble-shooting, monitoring/trending, tech pubs
Maintain spare pool accounting and consumption rates records
Support customer fulfillment and movements/transportation of assets
Configuration management to ensure Engine Logbook updating
Maintaining updated and complete Technical Publications library and tooling database/calibration library
Ensure Compliance to relevant airworthiness regulations specifications (Technical Airworthiness Authority)
Autonomously executes maintenance operations tasks and makes evaluations of the collected results iaw technical manual
Act as a Certifying Staff related to engine maintenance activities
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering or a technical high school diploma with previous solid experience on engine maintenance
Good knowledge of propulsion systems, aerospace service (Customer operational needs will be a plus);
Knowledge of Engine Logbook for consultation and analysis of engine and engine parts data
Capability of technical reporting and to report about technical issues
Strong ability to influence others and lead small teams
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent written and spoken Italian and English
Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required
Eligible for NATO Security Clearance
Willing to travel
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of EJ200 and EB199 engines and applicable AGE (Aircraft Ground Equipment)
Knowledge of engine performance, vibration, engine systems
Knowledge of airworthiness / flight safety regulations and compliance
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, Human Factors and working around A/C’s
Skills and experience to supervise engine maintenance tasks
In possession of EMAR 145 MAML - B1/C
Understanding of Fleet Management
Leading initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several tasks simultaneously
Proven analytical and organizational ability
