This role operates machines and tools used in power generation and resolve electrical and mechanical problems, to achieve production targets. responsible for reviewing daily work schedules and carry out any maintenance and/or operations duties needed in a safe and timely manner. Coordinating with all departments to minimize downtime and keep operations informed of any progress or complications that would delay completion of the job. Ensuring mechanical equipment is fully functional and available when needed. Performing daily operations of the power plant in a safe and prudent manner. Performing operations / maintenance of synchronizing and power switchgear. **Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:** + Performs routine component installations and maintenance. Maintains records of equipment usage, repair history, reliability and other similar factors. + Cooperates with other operators in the power plant to ensure operational efficiency. + Reads and interprets mechanical and electrical blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
