Engineer, Global Engine Support

Position Description

 

Reporting to Assistant Manager, Service Delivery, Global Engine Support.  Manage maintenance project(s) to ensure on time project delivery and certification according to customer & regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

 

Mange maintenance project(s) and provide quality delivery and ensure smooth and timely progress. Carry out investigation and provide reports for occurrences, accident/incident and complains. Manage and engage Crews to proactively identify and address potential safety risks. Performance/Competence review of team members to promote staff training and development Manage maintenance project(s) to ensure on time project delivery and certification according to customer & regulatory requirements Manage and supervise several Crews/Trades to carry out complicated and man-power demanding jobs tasks especially with multi-trade involvement Oversee project tasks scheduling, work coordination and other ad-hoc projects Reinforce compliance of regulatory requirements and standard procedures Set up approved facilities & equipment Initiate and promote improvements on GES operations Perform other duties and projects as assigned What You'll Need


1. Technical and other Relevant Experience

Responsible for certifying maintenance tasks In charge of maintenance projects and liaise, discuss and negotiate effectively with teams in relation to project deliverables Good project management skills in ensuring project tasks are delivered with quality, within schedule, with proper documentation and quality inspection Maintain good communication among internal and external customers to cope with maintenance issues effectively Meet Competency requirement per department Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM) Ability to lead teams on overseas assignments


2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience Authorized as Cat. S-ECS with EASA & FAA Endorsement Possess 4 Cat. S-ECS or 7 Cat. T4 Authorizations / other authorizations
