Company Description

We are looking for an iOS Engineer to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of our Abercrombie and Hollister iOS apps. The developer will help with the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support. In addition to delivering the product, the candidate will be a contributor in driving the mobile strategy at Abercrombie & Fitch.

 

What Will You Be Doing? 

Acting as iOS developer on our Abercrombie and Hollister iOS apps and SDKDeliver across the entire app life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores, and supportCollaborate with internal and external teams - Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Marketers to conceptualize, build, test, and realize new featuresFollow established coding standards and best practices, including paradigms optimizing the apps for performanceCollaborate with other development teams (API, Android, Web) on architectural vision and roadmapContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiencyKeep up to date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies

What Do You Need To Bring? 

BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or combined skills/experience and education1-2 years’ experience with Swift, Objective C and iOS SDKsStrong foundation in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, and debuggingExperience in designing/developing performant iOS applicationsExperience with web service integration (REST, JSON)Experience of development using web technologies (WKWebView, CSS, Javascript)Experience integrating with third-party libraries and APIsExperience integrating with third-party analytics platforms (e.g. Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics, Tealium etc.)Experience with Push Notifications including Rich MediaExperience using version control (e.g., Git, Git Flow)Familiarity with implementing iOS Accessibility Guidelines (e.g. VoiceOver)Familiarity with Agile development and works well in a large cross-functional team

This role allows for remote work across the U.S.. Therefore, in states and cities that require the hourly or salary compensation or pay range to be included in a job posting, the recruiting pay range for this position is $85,000 - $112,000. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your years of experience, your work location, comparison to other employees in similar or related roles, or market demands. The range may be modified in the future.
