Cost Down Engine team in RAC SC is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Technology Engineer. If you are excited about enhancing a solid and flexible production through optimization, this is an opportunity to make your mark on the development and implementation of our products and processes.
You will become part of our team of MT engineers and specialists with high aspirations, working broadly with production setup for current products – CDE projects and future cost optimization concepts. You will be taking the lead in developing new production set up for CDE and supporting the execution and implementation of the Cost Down Projects.
You will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders (Product line, R&D, Manufacturing, Line Quality) in an agile project setup.
Your location will be in Grodzisk, Poland. 5-10 travel days per year can be expected.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs an MT Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting 2-3 projects in parallel, ensuring that the production concepts fulfill our CDE target and are delivered to the expectation of RAC management.
Other key responsibilities will be to:
Execute tests necessary for validation and acceptance of systems and applications. Design and implement changes in the production environment. Be creative and open to new ideas and solutions. Handle documentation and formalities related to testing and implementation processes.Additional responsibilities:
Investigate and develop concepts for optimization production in close cooperation with CDE Team: engineering, procurement and quality. Lead the development of equipment concepts with suppliers, including specifications, PFMEA, and FAT/SAT. Support the run-in of equipment for CDE projects. Ensure project delivery on time with the right quality and cost. Plan, delegate, and prioritize supply chain activities. Deliver data for the CAPEX approval process in CDE projects. Background & Skills You have a relevant educational background (e.g., a bachelor’s degree in engineering) and solid technical experience and passion. You are a good executor and preferably have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on operational experience that will lead to effective implementation. You have the attitude and energy to drive innovative concept workshops. As the projects are technically advanced, you need to have gained technical understanding through education and experience. You have knowledge and experience within agile methodologies. You possess solid communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, and you can communicate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers at multiple levels. You are able to create solid results in a cross-cultural matrix organization.As a person, you are initiative-, action- and results-oriented with a focus on innovative and creative problem-solving, despite changing circumstances. The job requires getting quickly into the projects and dealing with a variety of activities. Self-efficacy and the attitude to consciously guide towards results while solving problems and engaging the commitment of others is essential in this position. The ability to influence others via constructive and adaptive communication styles is needed in this position.
