What You Will Do
Reviews customer request and cooperate with cross function to develop new audio products.Responsible for detail design of all related mechanical components for all audio products.Accurately and regularly reports all issues from customer and supplier.Is a team member, and directly interfaces with Harman Consumer Engineering teams Program Manager on a daily or as needed basis.Provides direct as needed on-site interface with suppliers and sub-supplier program management, engineering, and manufacturing groups.Works very closely with customer and on site to discuss with customer.Covers multiple design and manufacturers as required.Review as needed mechanical methods and designs for manufacturing feasibility.Responsible for overseeing suppliers detail design and methods to ensure compliance with our product goals and quality testing procedures.What You Need
Minimum of bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering (or appropriate graduation)5+ years of consumer electronics product engineering and development experienceDesign and dimensional inspection of plastic, die cast, stamping, machined, extruded and wooden componentsProficient in the use of software tools such as, ACAD, Pro-eGood verbal and written communications skills, including technical documentation using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point and OutlookAbility of team workGood knowledge in spoken and written EnglishAbility to work under pressureWhat Makes You Eligible
