**General Summary:**
In this highly cross functional role, you be leading the Qualcomm DTCO/PPA team in one of the largest fabless design powerhouses. Responsible for evaluating the most advanced logic technology from a DTCO and a PPA standpoint, with the ultimate goal of co-defining / optimizing technology features & entitlements with foundry and research partners.
The selected candidate will lead Qualcomm’s global PPA team that is chartered to optimize metal stacks, Power Grid options, and support chips to validate new power grids, PNR based validation of standard-cell (and block-level) DTCO boosters, for better Power and Performance, in technologies with advanced transistors architecture such as GAA / FINFET.
Responsibilities include evaluation and optimizing a diverse set of process technologies for a diverse set of products across of multiple markets, such as Mobile, Auto, Compute, IOT, etc.
**The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications**
· Minimum 10 years’ experience in semiconductor industry focused on PPA optimization
· Knowledge of deep sub-micron GAA, FINFET and Planar technologies
· Expertise with either Cadence or SNPS Synthesis and PNR tools
· Experience working closely with semiconductor foundries and EDA companies
· Ability to drive initiatives across diverse technical groups
· Nice to have: Aiding chip teams to overcome their PPA challenges or power grid related issues
**Educational Requirements**
Required: MSEE, Electrical Engineering (with PhD preferred_
**Minimum Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

**Pay range** **and Other Compensation & Benefits** **:**
$197,800.00 - $296,600.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
