As a Qualcomm Software Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations in support of business development, product demonstrations, design and development of customer specific requirements, commercialization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques. o Skills/experience: + Software debugging skills on embedded system. + Experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Python, etc. + Embedded Kernel architecture, drivers, and operation + Understanding of RTOS, BSP, boot loader, or board bring-up. + Understanding of DSP Concepts. + Understanding of Device drivers (NOR/NAND Memory, Bluetooth, WLAN) + Understanding of Peripheral IOs (PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, UART) o Responsibilities: + In-depth technical root cause analysis of the issues reported from Qualcomm customers + Working closely with technology teams to support the fix process + Perform experimental testing to verify the resolution and improve the quality of Qualcomm products. + Develop debug code to help triage complex issues. + Documenting application notes for Customers on key features, design + Training the latest technology features of Qualcomm product to customer Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
