This role will be responsible for driving supplier performance improvements in quality, cost, and deliver. This role collaborates with suppliers to build strong partnerships that align with Stryten Energy's requirements. By focusing on continuous improvement and strategic initiatives, this position will play a critical role on the Quality team.

Responsibilities Work with suppliers to develop and continuously improve their capabilities to reliably deliver high quality products on-timeDevelop long-term supplier relationships and generate and implement cost reduction ideasWrite reports, maintain timelines and log sheets for frequent updates, multi-taskingInterface between suppliers and Stryten quality, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on design for manufacturability, design for testingStrategically lead supplier performance improvement projects in an effort to increase the supplier capability of consistently meeting Stryten requirements. Projects may include: process analysis, value stream mapping, process capability, throughput analysis, 6-Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen eventsScreening, evaluation, and implementation of supplier Value Add/Value Engineering proposalsDrive and/or co-define documentation best practices with EngineeringContribute as core team member as required on transition projectsDrive “Zero Defects” mentality within the supply baseSupport all of Americas business groups equally Qualifications Technical Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college. (e.g., electrical, mechanical, chemical engineering)Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred4+ years of experience working in supply chain (supplier quality engineer or commodity manager preferred)Able to interpret/read drawings, prints, and specificationsDemonstrated experience as “change agent” internally within company and externally with suppliers with positive resultsExperience and understanding of manufacturing standards (e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949, VDA 6.3)Experience with AIAG systemsExperience with six sigma and lean manufacturing methodologiesExperience with process and product audits (internal and supplier)Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross functional and international teamsDetail oriented and strong analytical and critical thinking skills Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:High energy level and ability to interface at all levels across the businessHighest ethical standards and practicesExcel, Minitab, PowerPoint, Calibration software Travel Requirements:This position requires ~ 40%
