Under close supervision and at a beginning level of engineering work, performs basic and routine assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out a sequence of related engineering tasks and activities. 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Receive project assignment and obtain a full understanding of the nature and scope of the project as well as budget and schedule parameters. Assist in determining the technical design criteria for the project. Research and compile appropriate background information for the project, including past designs, materials specifications, and governing code requirements. Perform necessary design calculations for the project. Prepare schematic designs for the project based on rough sketches and notes provided by others. Assist in determining materials quantities and specifications for the project. Coordinate with other disciplines involved in the project as necessary. Attend progress briefings and coordination checks to discuss the engineering effort and project status. Document all design criteria, calculations performed, and decisions made. Update vendor and design files periodically. Assist in preparing studies and reports when called upon.

Bachelor's in EngineeringMust have strong technical background in appropriate engineering fieldInterest and ability to pursue engineering and development projects.Legal authorization to work in the United States. No sponsorship will be provided.

Some applied engineering experience preferred.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $74,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.​
