We are looking for a motivated Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) Engineer to support nuclear power plant risk assessments. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise in probabilistic safety analysis while working in a dynamic and international environment at our offices in Madrid

 

Key Responsibilities

Conduct safety and risk evaluations for nuclear power plant systems. Assist in modeling internal and external risk events, including fire, flooding, and seismic hazards. Use probabilistic models to support operational, financial, and regulatory decision-making. Contribute to project execution by ensuring technical accuracy, meeting deadlines, and managing project priorities. Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders. Give support to clients in Europe, North America, and Asia.

Requirements

Education: Master’s degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields). Experience: 0-2 years of experience in the nuclear industry or probabilistic risk assessment (PRA/PSA).

Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of PRA/PSA methodologies (experience with Risk Spectrum and NUREG/CR-6850 is a plus). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work on multiple tasks while maintaining high attention to detail. Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.

Soft Skills: Team player, adaptability, and strong organizational skills.
