About the role

At Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, the Engineer 3 plays a crucial role in maintaining the guest rooms and Residence Club facilities.

What you will do

Electrical repairs and maintenance.

Plumbing, steam, gas, fire and safety, HVAC, refrigeration.

Interior paint, and decorating problem-solving.

Repair and maintenance of motors, starters, breakers.

Installation of electrical wiring for various purposes.

Handling electrical setups for exhibits and conventions.

Preventative maintenance of all electrical equipment.

Regular cleaning and maintenance of engineering stations.

Preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.

Repairing a variety of items brought to the shop by other departments.

Assembling furniture (desks, shelving, cabinets).

Participating in major shut-downs for repair.

Assisting guests with special requests.

Responding to guest complaints promptly and professionally.

Cleaning and maintenance of grease traps, filters, drains, and mechanical rooms.

Handling gas and charcoal burners, light fixtures and shades.

Unplugging toilets and changing valves.

Taking meter readings and recording temperature/pressures.

Participating in energy conservation programs.

Handling and reporting and Residence Club emergency.

Maintaining good working relationships with other employees.

Providing instruction and encouragement as needed.

Responding to work orders. room inspection reports, and emergency conditions.

Reflecting high standards of Four Seasons through a professional demeanor.

Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Residence Club management.

What you bring:

Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

1-2 years of experience in hotel or building maintenance

Valid California Driver’s License

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to lift 50-100lbs, push/pull 50lb, and lift 25lbs overhead.

Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and tasks that require squatting, bending, and stretching.
