Roles and Responsibilities

Lead evaluation and disposition of non-conformances. Offer new solutions to producibility related issues.Execute the design, analysis, and/or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles, adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products.Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute according to policy/strategy.In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members
 

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical, Aerospace, or closely related field of Engineering.Solid contribution in a similar role or previous positionEnglish skills: Must be able to maintain a simple conversation in English.Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.Demonstrated ability in managing own projectsStrong problem-solving skills with guidance.Fundamentals of ANSYS or FEA.Previous experience in manufacturing, especially of Aerospace components.

Previous experience in design of Aerospace components.Flexible and friendly approach to working in teams.Practical experience with GD&T.Interest in being a self-starter with a passion for problem solving and driving solutions, while constantly learning and mentoring others.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.Established project management skills.Fundamental understanding of turbine system design.
