Job Title: Composite Engineer - Advanced Manufacturing Job Description Join our team to work on revolutionary systems that impact lives globally and for generations. This Engineer will be working in advanced manufacturing, specifically with composite materials (like carbon fiber) used in aerospace parts. Their main job is to: + Support laser projection systems that guide workers in placing materials accurately. + Create digital files that tell the laser where to project lines or shapes. + Build 3D models of parts and assemblies using a software called NX. + They help make sure everything is built precisely, which is critical in aerospace manufacturing. Responsibilities + Provide troubleshooting support for laser projection in layup cells. + Create laser projection files using NX Fibersim. + Build 3D assembly models using NX software. Skills & Qualifications Needed + NX CAD Software Proficiency - Used to design and model parts and assemblies. + Troubleshooting Manufacturing Processes - Ability to solve problems on the factory floor, especially with laser projection systems. + Experience with Composite Materials and Tools + Previous experience with composite materials. + Proficiency in Windows and MS Office. + Working knowledge of Siemens FiberSIM. + Experience with laser projection and pattern cutting nesting preferred. Work Environment The role requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SAP clearance. Work is conducted on-site in a manufacturing environment in Utah. The work shift is C-Shift, Friday through Sunday, with the possibility of overtime during the week as needed. #LI-MH3 Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
