Engineer
Position Summary

The Engineer, report to Manager is the team leader in every shift, leading the subordinates to provide facilities management services to the needs of the entire operations of property including MICE, gaming, hotel, F&B and administration business operations on a 24/7 shift rotation.  

Primary Responsibility

1. Lead a team of technicians in managing day to day operations supporting entire property operations in 24/7 shift rotation and contribute to guest satisfaction standards by ensuring that all requests for Facilities Management services are rapidly addressed, and where possible, anticipate individual needs. Ensure the safety and comfort of guests and services requests are handled in a courteous, efficient and professional manner.  2. Leader for the Team and responder to all building services to attend requests and emergency situation. Ensuring all facilities and system are in working condition and also meet the services KPIs in every rotation shift on 24/7 basis.  3. Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for hotel and its facilities by working closely with hotel operation teams in meeting hotel brand standards and guest satisfaction and expectation.  4. Support Manager in providing on-site technical support in related to infrastructure services to MICE operations and Gaming operations.  5. Work closely with Help Desk and Structural Cabling team in accordance with the Shared Services agreement.  6. Lead the team and ensure all Corrective Maintenance Service Requests are managed effectively by using computerized maintenance management system. Ensure smooth transition of works in shift handover process, proper records and follow up.  7. Assist Manager in continuously improve the Top 10 engineering related deficiencies in ensuring guest satisfaction and brand standards are met.  8. Maintains facilities and equipment by conducting routine inspections and determining appropriate rectification measures in every shift inspection interval.  9. Prepare duty rosters, vacation plans and schedules and public holiday schedules to assure efficient use of human resources.  10. Maintain a supply of inventory necessary for optimal operating efficiency.  11. Monitor the work's quality that carried by the contractor, ensure that is meet with agreed standard.  12. Manage, lead and motivate a technically competent team in providing support through team daily briefing, meetings and on the job training.  13. Competent in overall system and equipment operations principles, use of materials, tools and methodology in carrying out operation and maintenance, and understand of standard operation procedure.  14. Develop effective relationships within the other facilities management teams and others business units.  15. Actively participate by providing support and provide information to the Sustainability Committee in the delivery of sustainability initiatives.  16. Promote a culture of workplace Health and Safety through training and effective daily communication with the teams and enforcement of related policy and procedure.  17. Additional duties as necessary and assigned.

Requirements

1. Degree holder of Engineering.

2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Engineering. Experience in a 5 star hotel is preferred.

3. With strong team spirit and cooperative attitude.

4. High efficiency and good technical background.

5. Proficiency in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken.

6. PC knowledge including AutoCad, Words, Excel and Power Point.
