 Responsibilities:Regularly maintain mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems throughout the hotel to ensure smooth operation.Identify and resolve technical problems or malfunctions in all areas of the hotel.Regularly check security systems, including fire protection and alarm systems, to ensure the safety of our guests and staff.Provide a fast, professional and reactive response to breakdown calls within 15 minutes of a guest request and emergencies.To be proficient in multi-trade disciplines, with at least basic electrical, carpentry, decorating and plumbing knowledge and skills.Be alert for opportunities to improve the profitability of the department i.e. through controlling wastage, economy of utilities and resources.Maintain effective communication both within the department and to other departments and ensure the director is kept well informed of any problems/queries that have arisen.
Skills:Completed training in a technical field.Knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanics, sanitary installations and building automation.A team player and enjoy supporting our Engineering Manager.Familiar with technical matters.Good organizational and communication skills.Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
