**A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)** **We are strengthening the Engineering departmentwithin Distributed Global Customer Operations!** As a Scope Lead, you would start a typical day with organization of tasks to support multiple concurrent projects. This lead position will review contracts, evaluate on time delivery of engineering documents, review scope and identify gaps, coordinate meetings for clarification of technical issues, mentor other specialists, and provide reporting to direct manager and other leaders within the business! **How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)** + Youincorporate Siemens Energy design standards and guidelines, and adapt theassigned scope to meet project-specific requirements, due to CustomerSpecifications, Regional/Statutory Requirements for the Installationlocation, and any other Special Application Requirements + Yousupport the Project Manager in Internal and External meetings andoperational activities, including production planning, disposition andcorrection of non-conformances, and evaluation of supplier userdocumentation. + Youapply sophisticated knowledge in the assigned systems, manage assignedscope projects, work independently, mentor others, and review/approve thework of team members in this same job field. + Youcollaborate with both local and global Siemens Energy Engineering, ProjectManagement, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Installation teams insupport of project execution activities. + Youown the technical scope for the project within your subject area,collaborating with others leads in ensuring the overall package iscompliant to our configuration plan and Customer requirements. + Youprovide support to Proposal Managers with requirements review, gapanalyses to standard designs, and risk evaluation on aeroderivative andmedium rotating equipment bids. **What You Bring (requirements)** + Masteror Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, orequivalent + Aeroderivativeor Medium Gas Turbine packaging experience a plus. + 10+years of experience with design and specification of electrical and/ormechanical systems for gas turbines in compression and power generationapplications. + Strongleadership and communication skills. + Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States withoutneed for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
