Job Description Summary

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Assistant Facilities Manager supports the facilities organization at a specific location, set of buildings, or campus environment. The Assistant Facilities Manager is charged with supporting the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, programs and workplace services delivery that provides a well-managed and well-maintained building. Places an emphasis on a positive response to the concerns and needs of the tenants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs, in coordination with the client's goals and objectives.

About the Role:

To Manage and Lead the Team to carry out planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs as instructed by Manager.To provide support for events that are held in these facilities.To plan and effectively carry out Scheduled Facilities Planned Maintenance with 100% completion.To carry out site verification and provide related scope of work for inhouse / external vendors for recommendation and quotation.To work with Project Main contractor to address builder’s defects pertaining to the building and MEP system.To follow up all related administrative operation for PR / PO for vendors to carry out the necessary rectification work.To ensure and follow up all necessary statutory certification / license renewal for all related MEP system.To ensure all MEP Plant Room system are in functional operation at all times.To coordinate and liaise with Venue Ops for all MEP system PM work timeline accordance to schedule.To collate and evaluate all reactive cases assigned by Manager and carry out necessary rectification or temporary repair/fix (when necessary) within a stipulated time.To assist the Manager to follow up on outstanding issue and case.To be activated at all-time 24/7 for any related urgent issue arise.To respond instantly and brief the team; in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.Ability to work independently without supervision from Manager.To actively lead the team in the absence of the Manager.To verify and conduct trending of all related MEP system in view for energy and water efficiency.To ensure operation of MEP equipment and events assign are 100% operational readiness.To assist the Manager for coordination in all events or issues assignedTo coordinate and liaise with Manager in monitoring and controlling expenditures within the budget allocated.To acquire the knowledge of Microsoft Office to prepare and submit weekly and monthly document work and report.To ensure the team adhere to all workplace safety requirement.To lead and provide training to the team for all the MEP system on site.
