By cultivating a sense of inclusion, belonging and respect, and a collaborative culture, the GEC has fostered the most talented and capable engineers, thereby playing a pivotal role in driving Ingersoll Rand’s purpose and strategic focus areas. **Job & Division Summary:** This position is for a candidate responsible for support design and engineering efforts for New Product Development, i2v, Engineered to order Projects and Life cycle Engineering projects on Haskel High Pressure Technology and Hydrogen Solutions products (https://www.haskel.com/en) and contribute knowledge to Support Ingersoll Rand Product development and product optimization projects at Engineering Technology Centre, India **Responsibilities** + Support design and engineering efforts for assigned NPD/ETO/LCE projects. + Deliver component, assembly or System Level design tasks, commitments & participate in design reviews + Create / improve product design data as required – CAD design of High-pressure products, assemblies and components, complicated layout and detail drawings, bills of material. (3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of Material, etc.) + Ensure project milestones and deliverables with agreed Quality, Delivery, cost for all phases of project + Lead and participate in the design and development of Air and Gas system products. + To support i2V workshops, brainstorm ideas, and create alternative designs to optimize product performance. + Manage the lifecycle of existing products, ensuring their continued functionality and efficiency. + Coordinate directly with engineering team in global location and conduct System Level Design delivery tasks as warranted by the Project objectives. + Understand the project requirement from global team and execute with highest level of quality standard. + Leverage your expertise in mechanical design calculations to optimize product designs. **Mandatory Skills** + Proficient in Inventor Design tool – Part creation, Drafting, Assemblies and design tables. + Hands on experience in concept development and Continuous Design Improvement. + Engineering documentation to include bills of material, test specifications, lab reports. + Basic understanding of engineering workflow & PLM system (Windchill). + Good Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack up. + Basic Knowledge in manufacturing processes (machining, plastic, casting, sheet metal) and design codes + Basic knowledge of materials and heat treatment. + Exposure to electro-pneumatic systems and circuit diagram would be an added advantage. + DFMEA and design validation plan. **Desired skills:** + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical details coherently to the customers. + Excellent interpersonal skills to work in a global environment across different time zones. + Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage time and complete simultaneous multiple assignments. + Strong agility to explore next gen technologies related to Air and Gas solution products + Conversant with Microsoft tools – Word; Excel; PPT; MSP. **Basic Qualifications** **Experience:-** + Bachelor /master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline + Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in design and development (Especially for Industrial products, pumps, high pressure components) + Proactive, self-motivating with ability to develop own priorities + Excellent time management and organizational skills. + Ability to travel both domestic and international as and when require + Flexible, adaptable, and eager to deliver timely results despite unanticipated challenges. **What we Offer** + We are all owners of the company!
