Job Summary

The MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) Senior Engineer/Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building systems to ensure the efficient operation of banking branches and office facilities. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and collaboration with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities1. Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection (MEPF) Systems ManagementOversee the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems across multiple facilities.Ensure that MEPF systems comply with local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of MEPF equipment to minimize downtime.Support the installation and optimization of energy-efficient solutions, including renewable energy systems (e.g., solar panels).2. Project & Vendor ManagementManage and coordinate MEPF upgrade and renovation projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.Work closely with vendors and contractors to review technical specifications, drawings, and project deliverables.Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements in service quality and cost-effectiveness.3. Technical Support & Issue ResolutionProvide technical guidance to internal teams regarding MEPF system operations and best practices.Respond to and resolve emergency breakdowns and unexpected failures in collaboration with maintenance teams.Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system monitoring and maintenance.4. Compliance, Safety, and ESG InitiativesEnsure compliance with safety regulations, fire codes, and environmental standards (ISO 14001, ISO 50001, etc.).Participate in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, such as energy-saving and carbon reduction projects.Maintain documentation for regulatory audits and inspections.5. Data Analysis & ReportingMonitor energy consumption, equipment performance, and maintenance logs to identify areas for improvement.Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and cost analysis for senior management.Recommend upgrades or replacements based on performance data and life-cycle assessments.

 Qualifications & ExperienceEducation & CertificationDiploma holder or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications (LEED, CEM, PMP) preferred.Fire Safety Manager Certification is a plus.Work ExperienceSenior Engineer: 7+ years of experience in MEPF engineering, facilities management, or construction projects.Engineer: 3-5 years of experience in related fields.Experience in banking, commercial buildings, or critical facilities (e.g., data centers) is highly desirable.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire suppression systems.Familiarity with energy management systems (BMS), power distribution (UPS, generators), and sustainable technologies.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and MEPF simulation tools.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Excellent project management and stakeholder communication abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Team player with a proactive and hands-on approach.
