The T-Line Engineer Assc- Engineer is responsible to the assigned manager for performing engineering work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives.Job Description
What You’ll Do
Engineering and design work related to transmission line design including engineering analysis and design, route selection, material acquisition, structural and foundation design, project and construction management.Prepare project construction documents including plan and profile drawings; design drawings; engineering, material and construction specifications; project schedules and bills of material.Communicate effectively verbally and written to facilitate on schedule and on budget project performance.Develop transmission line designs and cost estimates for proposed projects.Work effectively with internal and external customers, government and regulatory agencies and contractors to secure permits, refine design alternatives and other liaison activities to bring project to completion.Conduct bid and construction meetings as needed. Work with Project Management, Substation design, Distribution, Supply Chain and Right of Way as needed.

Engineer Associate (Grade 05):
This is an entry level position for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*; Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged and preferred.
Engineer (Grade 06-07):
*ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
Acceptable alternatives are:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET), plus a Professional Engineers (PE) license in any state of the U.S. ORBachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program.*ABET accredited program requirement may be waived at the discretion of VP or Executive level above based on relevant qualifications and experience.
