If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact and being part of a forward-thinking organization, this is the company for you!** **WHAT YOU'LL DO** ******* **_This position will be onsite and a part of a rotating 12-hour shift 24/7._** ******* **_More Specific to This Opportunity:_** **Regulatory & Legislative Integrity:** - Lead the validation of operational good quality PMU data stream to RTO's, ensuring 95% uptime of all PMU's to the RTO's are met per compliance guidelines. - Actively monitor PMU infrastructure for stale, erroneous, or incomplete data to ensure compliance with PRC-002, MOD33 and ERCOT NODEL requirements. **Operational Excellence:** - Lead the PSO/SWEPCO Asset Health monitoring projects for EHV transformers and CB's - Lead the remote enabling of PMU's across the AEP footprint to support the ELSE effort to have complete visibility across the AEP footprint. - Actively monitor PMU infrastructure for stale, erroneous, or incomplete data, remotely address issues when possible **Customer Service:** - Lead data cleanup efforts supporting AHC PI, Provide relevant data to stakeholders to support condition-based maintenance and capital replacement initiatives, leveraging Asset Performance Management software, Station PI, IPS, and other data repositories. Summarize and report on the energization, condition, and health of critical assets to stakeholders. **Financial Strength:** - Review PSO/SWEPCO substation assets within the 5-year warranty period and address issues with vendors remotely to ensure optimal and reliable asset performance. Utilize the APM application to monitor long-term health trends of these assets. **Environmental Respect:** - Proactively lead data analysis related to the health and alarm monitoring of PSO/SWEPCO substation transformers and reactors to help prevent catastrophic failures. Contribute to the ongoing daily support of the Monitoring Analysis Response Center to ensure effective operations. *** This position will be onsite and a part of a rotating 12-hour shift 24/7. *** ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Technical Expertise: Possesses entry-level knowledge and experience in the application of theory to solve well-defined problems or provide analysis, with guidance from higher-level engineers. Accomplishes work according to plans and schedules established by higher-level employees. Develops an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the department. **WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR** Based on education, experience and interview, this opportunity will be filled commensurately at either title. For this posting, minimum requirements are stated at the lower grade. Increased expectations are at the higher grade. **Engineer (mid-level) (grade 6)** = bachelor's degree in engineering + two (2) years of experience; OR, may be considered entry-level with a master's degree in engineering. **Engineer Associate (entry-level) (grade 5)** = entry-level with a bachelor's degree in engineering This is an entry-/mid-level position for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*; Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged and preferred. *VP or above may waive the requirement for a degree from a university with an Non-ABET accredited program. **WHAT YOU'LL GET** **INITIAL POSITION / BASE SALARY FUNDING: approximately ($62,000 - $90,000/year) spanning both salary grades/titles.
