This exciting role offers opportunity to: '- Understand customer requirements for switchboard and prepare the GA drawings, SLD, Electrical schematics & BOM. - Able to perform electrical calculation for selecting required switchgear, busbar sizing & enclosure sizing for switchboard product. - Act as the technical point of contact for assigned work to Pune team & closely work with El Paso, US engineering team. - Work closely with engineers, through order reviews and process improvements, to ensure accurate interpretation of customer supplied order information. - Support and assist assembly teams in resolution of process and/or information quality problems. - Manage and deliver assigned tasks as per schedule. - Driving continuous improvement to meet project KPIs, and ensure stakeholder & customer satisfaction "- Hands on design experience of LV electrical distribution equipment like Switchboard & Panelboards, MCC/PCC Panels. - Hands on experience in calculations and selections of different switchgear, Busbar sizing, Enclosure selection, protection relays, CT’s & PT’s. - Develops a variety of complex drawings (Electrical +Mechanical) and bills-of-material based upon established product designs for switchboard product line. - Create or edit bills of material to ensure correct material demand requirements for purchased and self-manufactured components. - Experience in using NEMA & UL Standards while designing panelboards and switchboards. - Provide technical assistance to sales and manufacturing shop floor for smoother exceution of orders on floor. - Possesses strong skills and proficiency with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and other Eaton specific Engineering/Business software applications like Enovia, Bidman, AS400 & Design automation. - Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills. - Experience working with cross functional teams within and outside organization to drive business objectives in LV products.
