Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an Electronics Engineer 1 to support various programs out of our Syracuse, NY facility. In this role the selected candidate will get a chance to work in our digital engineering group providing design and verification of embedded FPGA firmware.  In addition, you will be collaborating within a cross functional team on challenging technical projects supporting National Security.

What You Will Do Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment, power electronics; communications equipment and systems; circuitry components and integrated circuits; analog and digital computers, processors, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and associated firmware; and control and test equipment. What We Are Looking For: Minimum Qualifications 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience. Ability to design and verify designs coded in VHDL and Verilog Exposure and knowledge with Xilinx or Altera products Possess ability to produce well written technical documentation Capable of working and communicating in a cross functional team  
  Preferred: Bonus Points For Active DoD Secret Clearance  Experience w/: Digital oscilloscopes, power meters, and other test equipment MatLab or Simulink Linux based development environment RFSoC FPGAs Proficiency with TCL and Python languages Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
