About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced in Vehicle Display module Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and have ability to manage a mechanical group to work with X-functional team to ensure the project and product delivery.

What You Will Do

Responsible for Display module Mechanical design, development, prototyping, verification, validation and improvement. Work closely with other team members, includes PM, Transducer Engineer, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Quality Assurance departments to drive successful project and product delivery to meeting timing, cost and quality, prepare technical reports and presentation.Create 3D models, assembly drawings and component drawings of product design.Conduct simulation, stack-up analysis, build prototype, conduct design verification and lessons learn process.Drive effective cost design and robust design.Judgement, Change Orientation, and Results Driven are most critical Harman competencies in your role.Support test validation and design improve to meet customer requirements.Concept Design knowledge of Metal Casings with high-power dissipationknowledge of electronic products.In-depth Knowledge in Creo 4.0- 3D & 2D Environment. Exposure in Solid, Detailing, Assembly, Sheet metal, and Surfacing.

What You Need:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related fieldMinimum of 6 years of experience in automotive industryStrong knowledge of display technologies and optical performance metrics.Familiarity with automotive display module standards and requirements.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong skill in 3D design (Creo, Catia)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What is Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree majoring in Mechanical, or other related field.Minimum 6 years of related ME experience in AUTOMOTIVE mechanical design.Detail oriented demonstrated ability from theoretical to implementation-based thinking.Background in major automotive & cad Tool - Creo

What Makes You Eligible

Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic and international travel.Be willing to work in an office in the R&D Center in Pune IDCSuccessfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
