CommScope is looking to add an Engineer I, Manufacturing to join our Manufacturing Operations Team in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua.

 

General Summary

 

Under indirect supervision, it develops and maintains processes passionate about optimizing the use of manufacturing resources. Analyzes the conditions and capabilities of their areas and the equipment used in the manufacturing areas. Performs studies of times and movements. Participates in the introduction of new products and transfers from one location to another, as well as in the accurate implementation of engineering changes.

It is responsible for carrying out the processes to manufacture the products that meet the specifications and requirements of Engineering and Quality at the appropriate cost.

 

 Duties & Responsibilities

 

 

Coordination of pilot runs or evaluation of new processes or products. Responsible for the selection of equipment and machinery for manufacturing processes. Responsible for process planning: layout, flow diagrams, PFMEA process analysis. Responsible for the engineering documentation of the process. Study of labor of predetermined times to achieve efficient processes. Compliance with productivity, quality and cost goals and objectives. Participation in equipment improvement projects or manufacturing processes. Coordinates the implementation of operational excellence projects with "Lean Manufacturing" and 6 sigma techniques.

 

Strategic processes you manage

 

SAP System (Manufacturing) Manufacturing Process System. Information and Documentation System. Manufacturing Methods. Continuous Improvement System. Create routes in the SAP system. Develops and maintains assembly processes and visual aids. Proposes and or validates material deviations (TDA) Proposes, validates, and approves process changes. Proposes, validates and approves design changes (CMR & CMO) Transfer of products. Productivity Projects for Cost Reduction.

 

 

Related Education & Experience

 

Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineering, Electromechanics preferably or similar career or 5 years of experience in similar position. English 80%

 

Skills Required

Line balancing. Lean Manufacturing Project Management. Microsoft Office Packages. AutoCAD. Communication. Conflict management. Guide to Ethical Conduct. Teamwork. Engineering applications.
