Position Summary

Provide in-depth ticket analysis and support customers as needed. Ensure the latest ticket status is provided to the customers.

Role and Responsibilities

Job Description:

Provide in-depth ticket analysis and support customers as needed. Ensure the latest ticket status is provided to the customers. Be able to proactively perform data audit, SW/FW audit, and health check of the OSS. Generate audit report for various teams including RF / FOA Leads. Software and patch upgrades on network element to support feature testing and issue resolution verification. Collect logs and perform log analysis for discussions with customers/internal. Support multiple FOA activities with log collection, parameter changes, grow/degrow Network elements, packet captures. Reduce the number of tickets escalated from TAC upper Tiers. Strong on customer support as well as data analysis of logs, etc. Drives issue resolution with other Engineering teams. Provide support as needed for commercial Network outages and network performance issues. Also provide technical reviews and provide support to customers as needed. Ensure high severity issues are monitored and respond to meet the agreed SLA requirements.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering/networks related job titles.

Applicants must possess at least 1 year of experience in the following: (1) Working in the wireless telecommunications industry; (2) 4G or 5G LTE Call Processing; (3) 4G or 5G air interface specifically focused on Radio Access Network; (4) system engineering projects including: technical requirements identification, technical solutions to address requirements, technical description documentation with details including parameter optimization, performance analysis, test strategy creation and problem troubleshooting; and (5) SW development working in C/C++, Unix/Linux, scripting tools including PERL, TCL, shell, Python. 10% domestic travel to customer premises as required.
