As an Order Engineer, you will be responsible for the fulfilment of customer orders for existing products which may include engineer- to-order designs for accessories and actuation products to support manufacturing.  Participation in product portfolio initiatives, including design, documentation, and release into production will form part of the role. The role provides an opportunity to work with database software supporting manufacture of configured products, CAD, and design tools used for ETO products.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Sustainment of Quarter-Turn and Knifegate products manufactured at Eagle Farm facility including creation of Part numbers and BOMs, use of Product Configurators and Actuation Selection tools, Engineer-to-order design (ETO), CAD and documentation, and production support Liaison with Sales, Project Management and Manufacturing teams in support of orders including: ETO product configurations, investigation, and resolution of non-conformances in manufacturing, and engineering change notices Team member on product engineering projects, assisting with designs, create/review CAD Models and Drawings, BOMs, and associated documents

For This Role, You Will Need:

Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering or technical field would be an advantage At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles within manufacturing or engineer-to-order (ETO) design projects Experience in creation and management of CAD and associated documents for mechanical parts Knowledge of ASME and ASTM standards relating to pressure containing parts would be an advantage
