Sr. Melting Process Engineer (Sustainability) Lead the process development and migration for melting process emission improvement and Energy consumption reduction Work with Facility, process design, ESH, Melting technology team, Glass tech and plant engineering team to integrate new technologies with operation tanks to achieve Sustainability target Worldwide manufacturing support for Emission and energy consumption reduction.  Execute technical analysis of the melting process and drive to conclusions to promote improved process capability. Lead/Support process standardization, documentation, and governance. Education & Experience BS degree or above - major in chemical / mechanical engineering or science 5 years or above related experience in Corning or chemical / mechanical engineering industry Preferred to have facility background Project leading skill and process development experience Skills

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of thermal and/or chemical process Experiment design and execution Methodology – Six Sigma, DMAIC, Project Skills and so on Data analysis experience – Statistical knowledge, data science tool kit is a plus. 

Desired Skills:

Mature communication skills and team leadershi Problem solving and decision making. Hands-on experience in fab is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Good communication and coordination skills in Chinese and English. Positive attitude and interpersonal skills Keen for challenge the goal and work under high pressure English proficiency : TOEIC 550 is a plus
