Location/Division Specific InformationThe Engineer II, FieldService position is based in the vibrant city of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil. This role is integral to our mission, serving our Bioproduction Division and supporting a wide range of customers.

A day in the Life:Conduct bioproduction instrument repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance at customer sites.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, firmware, and software.Collaborate with other Field Service Engineers to develop and improve service processes.Keys to Success:Demonstrated ability to prioritize customer happiness and maintain excellent customer-facing skills.Proactive problem-solving skills to prevent chronic instrument issues by determining root causes.Strict adherence to maintaining accurate records and administrative duties.EducationAn associate’s degree or equivalent experience in electronics, engineering, biomedical technology, or a related field is required. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology, or equivalent experience, is preferred.ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in related science, engineering, and/or customer service roles.Proven ability to handle a large territory and provide outstanding service and training.Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time, sometimes with as little as 24 hours' notice.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesAdvanced / Fluent English conversation is mandatory.Outstanding troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.Ability to stay current on equipment and tools through continuous learning.Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and administrative records efficiently.Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentThis role requires the ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays. The position involves working at customer sites, which may require adherence to safety protocols and the physical capability to handle equipment and tools.
