**Job Description**

We are looking for a talented Software Quality Engineer II to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission.
The Engineer II, Software Quality is a developing professional who participates in creating and extending Omnicell products. This person has a solid background in software quality who can apply industry and corporate best practices to produce quality applications. This person applies their practical and theoretical knowledge from Computer Science and previous experience in Healthcare or a related industry to maintain our OmniCenter Platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features, improve existing functionalities, and ensure the reliability of our software solutions.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work as part of a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
+ In-depth understanding of the testing life-cycle from functional requirements gathering to the design and execution of manual and automated level tests using Agile Methodology
+ Collaborate with software engineers in all phases of the SDLC
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on documentation and training
+ Identifies high risk test areas during design and development
+ Designs and reviews test plans and test cases
+ Executes functional, system, integration, and regression tests.
+ Meets the definition of done and promotes quality practices in the team
+ Understand how Omnicell solutions meet our customers' needs and how our suite of products are used across the continuum of care
**Required Knowledge and Skills**
+ Strong engineering competence, including the ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to collaborate and communicate with people at all levels of an organization
+ Strong verbal and visual presentation skills
+ Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision
+ Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new technology or techniques
+ Strong organizational skills - Ability to organize, analyze and execute several concurrent tasks and activities
+ Active participation in verification strategies, test planning process & test case design
+ Proven ability to create and execute manual & automated tests to verify product functionality, analyze results and assess automation effectiveness
+ Experience in as many of the following areas: GUI testing; embedded testing; web application testing; and various software & hardware platforms
+ Experience in functional, integration, white and black box testing
+ Experience with Test Process and Automation tools
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 2-4 years’ relevant experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with FoxPro is preferred; however, candidates with the ability and willingness to learn FoxPro will also be considered
+ Experience with pharmacy information systems or medication management technologies
+ Experience in Automated Testing Tools (e.g. Cypress, Ranorex)
+ Experience with Relational Databases (e.g. SQL Server)
+ Experience with Unit Testing in .Net and C# development stacks
+ Experience in working with geographically distributed teams in delivering high quality product(s).
+ Familiarity with Omnicell products and solutions

+ Ability to travel 10% of the time
