Automation Software Test Engineer

Participate in innovative technology research! We are looking for a hands-on automation tester, to implement automated tests for enterprise software applications. Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, as you’ll work closely with technology teams and manual testers. The ability to multi-task and rearrange priorities is important.

What do we look for:

The ideal candidate will have a background in software testing \\ development and good experience inUI Automation Tools: Functional and GUI tests using open-source or commercial testing tools such as Test Complete (preferred), Playwright, SeleniumNon-Functional Automation Tools :- Postman & JMeterVersion Control Systems: Familiarity with VC softwares like Git for code management, Azure-DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, or GitLab CI for automating build and deployment processesFramework :- BDD, Data-Driven, POMTesting Techniques: Understanding of various testing types, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testingProgramming Languages: Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in test automation, such as JavaScript(Preferred), Java, Python, or C#Build and execute test scripts for functional and workflow automation and analyze automation test resultsFamiliarity with software development lifecycle and software test processes using Agile MethodologyExperience with the development, implementation and maintain test automation framework and toolsAbility to work with multi-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other team members.Excellent communication: written, and presentation skills.A leader with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, motivated, Self-Starter, and Organized

We will be excited if you also have the following:

Proficiency in one of the Scripting Languages (JavaScript & Python, are required, PowerShell is a plus) to develop scripts for Smoke, integration/acceptance, and UI testing including Functional Testing, Regression tests, Data Driven Testing, User Acceptance Testing, etc.Proficient at JUnit, Postman, or similar tools depending on the technology stack.Proven experience in automation testing of web and Client-Server applications.Experience in Requirement analysis, Test Design, Test Execution, and Defect trackingIdentifying and gathering test data as neededLove to work multi-functionally and across geographic boundaries.

Desired secondary skills:

Knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Proteomics, and Mass SpectrometryFamiliarity with performance and API Testing tools example Apache JMeter, ReadyAPI, etc.Security testing

Education:

BS/MS in Computer science or a similar field

Experience:

Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in the automated framework using Test Complete, Postman or JMeter and proficiency in JavaScript, Python or a similar language.
