The Industrial Solutions team is looking for an experienced engineer to lead new product developments and to contribute to changes of the existing product portfolio in the K3 plant. This role will act as a technical extension of the engineering team in Leuven (Belgium). The successful candidate will work from the K3 plant in Kadan and will be reporting to the IS Aftermarket Product Manager located in the EMEA Headquarters in Leuven.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advance streamline, derivative, and breakthrough projects of IAF filter element development:Engineering of both will-fit and new Donaldson products as well as manufacturing support during new project launches.Identifying and leading technical and commercial improvements of current filter designs and manufacturing processes.Managing OEM projects with high complexity and high value (>500k€).

Supporting the engineering team with non-filter replacement products:Product management support: Act as a link between the European distribution center, sales, and all Donaldson plants in Czech Republic to ensure a flawless supply chain of replacement parts.Engineering support: Define, manage, analyze, and communicate validation test plans for filter component changes (e.g. metal, adhesive, plastic).

Supporting the selection of new equipment and the execution of CAPEX investments linked to new product development.

Stay abreast of filtration technologies and in the competitive landscape.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with CAD software (e.g. Solid Works) is a strong asset.Bachelors in a technical or economic field of study – or equal through experience. Communicative, self-motivated, solution oriented, and customer centric personality.Basic understanding of filtration and manufacturing techniques.Good presentation skills and ability to communicate across all levels.Knowledge of English is a must – any other language is an asset.Ability to travel 10%.
