Engineer III, Field Service

Join a team where your work matters. Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an ambitious Engineer III, Field Service. You will support customers in Scotland, north of UK and occassionally Netherlands, and Ireland (where required) ensuring their satisfaction and our success.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outstanding field service support to customers.Collaborate with teams across the UK, Netherlands, and Ireland to deliver solutions.Determine customer needs and up-channel their requests appropriately.Install, repair, decommission, relocate and service Thermo Fisher instruments in IDD.Maintain and service equipment, ensuring outstanding performance and reliability.Manage time effectively to ensure service calls are completed promptly.Stay on top of admin work, sparep arts stock, test kits, tools and personal training.Strictly adhere to safety and compliance regulations.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of proven field-based experience.Engineering education or equivalent experience.Track record of working in field service roles.Ability to work flexibly around customer needs.Excellent time management skills.Great teammate who excels in collaboration.
