Manage and interface between business unit and the OEM factory in Asia, your role will involve effectively coordinating and facilitating communication between the two parties.Ensure the successful manufacturing and assembly of the instrument.Collaboration with the product quality engineer in implementing GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and change control documentation, to ensure that the instrument produced by the OEM factory meets the required quality standards.Work closely with the factory and product quality engineer, to resolve product complaints that may arise. This involves investigating the complaints, identifying the root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Review and approve change requests from the OEM factory, to ensures that any proposed changes to the manufacturing process or product design meet the quality and regulatory requirements.Regular participation in OEM product meetings to review and assess the quality performance of the products.Participate in supplier audits to ensure that the OEM factory follows ISO and GMP requirements.

Education / Experience

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or mechatronics) with more than 8 years working experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.Experience in life science/ medical devices in the engineering function.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Have good knowledge of CAD and well verse with 2D and 3D design software (e.g. SOLIDWORKS).Have good understanding of system dimensioning and tolerancing of manufactured components to ensure system integration fit and function well.Well verse with manufacturing process such as casting, molding, machining, Forming/stamping and knowledge of different material used for manufacturing.Have good communication, analytical capability, and leadership qualities.Good business sense and the understanding of the OEM instrument material cost, process cost, and logistic/ transportation cost.
