Have you been responsible for engineering, design, and project management in support of installing and maintaining intermediate high pressure natural gas pipelines (below 60 psig) and system planning? Then look no further as we have the perfect opportunity, and we look forward to your application!
What you will do:
Engineering design, project proposals and estimates, materials procurement, planning, scheduling and coordinating projects on intermediate high pressure (IHP) natural gas system and related facilitiesProvide engineering support to Operations, Inspection, and Pre-Construction groupsRun pipe network analysis using modeling software to determine sizing and design of natural gas mains and service lines as well as determine system needs and requirements for projectsPerform calculations including gas system pressures, capacities, damage assessments, and economic feasibilityProject management including preparing material quantities, price schedules, material estimates, request for bid (RFB), reviewing contract documents, handling change orders and construction observationCoordination with government agencies, property owners, developers, and other key project partnersGather, compile, and analyze information and data used in engineering tasksPerform facility records research as the need arisesWho you are:
You have:
5+ years of relevant engineering experience in addition to an engineering degree from an ABET accredited institutionFull knowledge of engineering theories and principles in addition to the skilled use of advanced techniques and modification and extension theories, precepts and practices of the field and related sciences and subject areasYou can:
Show strong leadership skills with the ability to serve as a project team lead to provide guidance to less experienced engineers Think analytically to solve complex problems as a validated decision maker while possessing strong planning, organizational and project management abilitiesProcess information quickly and effectively managing multiple tasks while working independently and within a team environmentYou are:
An excellent written and verbal communicator to include technical writing skillsAble to interpret codes, regulations and practicesProficient in using computers and various applications with the ability to manipulate applications and perform engineering calculations using applicable software programs (e.g. Excel, Synergi Gas, etc.)The following are considered assets:
Professional Engineering licenseBachelors degree in mechanical, civil or industrial engineeringWorking Conditions:

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
