Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install plumbing systems and fixtures in a hotel / casino environment.Respond to and repair leaks on plumbing systems in the hotel and casino.Perform new installations as required, which includes running new lines and installing fixtures such as toilets, sinks, faucets, shower heads etc.Respond to drain back-ups on the property and take the necessary actions to clear them.Working as part of a team you must be willing and able to help in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.Design and implement plans for new installations.Coordinate and schedule outside contractors as needed.This is a uniformed position, which requires that Team Members follow uniformed appearance standards while on duty.BRING US YOUR BEST. Must have experience with working with copper, PEX, PVC and black pipe.Must have experience sweating and soldering joints as well as solder repairs on leaking plumbing lines.Must be familiar with the operation of cooling and heating systems in hotel rooms particularly with fan coil units.Must have experience in the use of drain cleaning equipment.Experience with the installation and operation of fire sprinkler systems is desired but not required.Must have journeyman level experience or equivalent in the plumbing trade with 5 years’ experience.Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.Highly organized and detailed.Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.Highly organized and detail-oriented.5 years of Facility maintenance/plumbing experience.
