**Job Description**
At Omnicell, we are dedicated to transforming pharmacy management and medication delivery through innovative software solutions. We are looking for a talented Software Engineer IV to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission.
As a Software Engineer IV, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the OmniCenter platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features, improve existing functionalities, and ensure the reliability of our software solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Work as part of a team to design, develop, and enhance the OmniCenter platform using C#, .NET Framework, Angular, and SQL Server.
+ Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
+ Implement scalable microservices architecture to support application growth.
+ Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
+ Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with team members.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional team on documentation and training.
+ Create unit tests to help ensure code quality throughout the application’s life cycle.
+ Understand how Omnicell solutions meet our customers' needs and how our suite of products are used across the continuum of care
+ Work with Technical support to troubleshoot and resolve 4 th level escalations in a timely and professional manner.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
+ 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
+ Expertise in C#, .NET Framework, Angular, and SQL Server.
+ Strong understanding of relational databases (specifically SQL Server) and experience with database design.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Experience working in an Agile environment; familiarity with Scrum methodologies is preferred.
+ Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with team members.
+ Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Good interpersonal communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with FoxPro is preferred; however, candidates with the ability and willingness to learn FoxPro will also be considered
+ Experience with pharmacy information systems or medication management technologies
+ Familiarity with Omnicell products and solutions
**Work Conditions**
+ Office
+ Ability to travel 10% of the time
